Is training extremely hard daily "self punishment" and done to hide so called inner weaknesses? Interesting thought, friend, but NO DICE!

This one came from a dude who I  otherwise agree with on most things.

He probably doesn't know I saw  this, which is fine.

But he claims that men who train extreme are doing so in the name of "self punishment" and its done to cover up inner weaknesses.

My thought?

Um - not quite. While  its  true that EVERYTHING in life is a cope (so you could say you feel on cloud nine after a massively tough workout and you   don't without  it,  so  you're coping - simple example) -  its also true that "self punishment" is discipline  (dude claims it isn't)  when done to FIX problems. That's  the only  way to fix anything permanently. Discipline plus persistence. I think the   guy missed context  there, but  whatever ... he's  not quite a Goggins fan, so it shows.

Goggins  has gone on record  saying his   inner  demons come back to bite him in the ass daily  - or  they WOULD, without that extreme  approach to life in general - such as what I've  always had, because that is all that  delivers RESULTS.

You cant really argue  with his  results, or  mine, can you?

Hmmmmmm? Crickets..... ?

Collaleral damage will occur along the  way, that's just life. Life is  war. If  you analyze it deeply, that  is. The people making the above comments have clearly  not, mentally at least,  had tough beginnings, were never born underpriveleged  to the extent some others are, etc etc. So, they  don't  have an   understanding of WHY extreme mentality  is required. Is  it  any surprise that most   of  us with that mentality   are either  white WINNERS in life  (like Pres Trump) or the Habibs  and blacks that have made  it  out of  the  bucket of CRABS?  Ask any black about  other blacks, you might be surprised how  they  talk about them. Same thing with yours truly.  When your OWN are your greatest enemies, you learn to fight from the  day you're born, else  you're  finished. There is no in the middle,  I've explained it many  times before.

Some Christians believe in the principle of substantiation, these sorts usually believe in self flagellation too, at least mentally. Sometimes, physcially. Yes, that's not an exaggeration either. I don't quite subscribe to either theory, to me its about DISCIPLINE. What must be done, must be done. In my case it aint inner demons coming out or not - I love  them demons. I exist peacefully with them, much  more than all  the fat cucked faggots I see all around me.

For me its  about pushing my limits,  getting better daily, better  and better shape,,  younger etc. I  could easily just "maintain" myself with far less extreme workouts at this point, but why? Nothing is  stagnant in nature. And I'd be a hypocrite to rest on my  laurels, especially when I've ranted so much against it (deservedly so, its true) ... you either go up or down, plenty waiting to take  your place at the top, hungrier than you ... and I'm anything BUT a fucking hypocrite, as y'all know.

Plus, with the lunacy around you,  I've said it so many times  before, you retreat into yourself, and you work on yourself, and fitness and sexuality are the two core aspects of  masculinity that simply cannot   be  ignored no matter what.

This fellow also made the comment I agree with about "most male fitness influencers being in the closet".

Couldn't agree more. I ban people from here, they show up with different ID's on the sexuality  website,  ban them there, they show  up here, and so forth. All covered before, which  is why its easy to sell to and manipulate these sorts.

I aint complaining, that's for sure!

If  I start listening to my "feelings" and training when I feel like it, like most of you jokers reading this do, then I would no longer be the Bodyweight Exercise Guru amongst all else, and wouldnt have the RIGHT to brag proudly  about what others call me either, neither would I want to, since then I wouldn't be called all these very complimentary  names I  am, because I wouldn't deserve it.

No my friend, training hard daily isn't necessarily self punishment, but even if  you do see it  that way, if its an net positive, and physically it is - then why not?

Punishing workouts,  they  say. Is that bad? No. And you know  it.

Self improvement is what  I'd  say, nomenclature aside, you  can only improve if  you force yourself to do things you don't want to, or feel like (because they're good for you).

And there it RESTS. Hehe.

Oh, something else I disagree about, he claims that those that constantly do shirtless workouts etc ...all they've done is prove they can take  their shirts  off.

No.

Now, in the past I never  took my shirt off,  yes, not because I  was fat, but because I didn't really want to peacock around like a lot of the other clowns on steroids do (make a show of myself, as a customer once rightly said). But in the  heat of  China, subtropical weather where you sweat one second like  a bucket, second second  drenched with TORRENTIAL downpour,  third second, you're  drenched with sweat again, weather  that makes you  feel like you're breathing FIRE INTO YOUR LUNGS literally, all covered in the relevant books, weather that would  make Rambo and a billy goat puke, weather  where the girls constantly got air copted  out due to dehydration (does a  woman ever drink water, even when told to? No, lol) ... darn near EVERYONE was with  their shirt off (men).

THIS is real hill climbing, I remember Kelly saying as the  sweat  bucketed, showered off me. He actually likes those workouts (we spoke about  it last year).

Social media bragging is gay, yes, that's why  I never liked  doing videos at all in the first place. Hey, those four - six hour hikes in that weather. I  didn't even take  my phone, dumb  or not, despite women constantly wanting my WeChat, something Glyn Bozo couldn't STAND. Could have, but why? WORKOUTS ARE THE PRIORITY. All else can WAIT. Including the liter of water and liters of red tea I "punished" myself  with later, hehe.

But anyway ... then you have fat Ben sorts who are fat inside, but try and cover it up outside, and they will not even ONCE do shirtless pictures without  not tilting their chin up, pulling  their stomach in, etc, all the time claiming, despite their  own closest pals calling them out FACTUALLY as shared on the other site ... ?

So it  goes both ways, friend. I  used to be EMBARASSED to take my shirt off at the beach, my wife at  the time would want me to do it anyway  but I wouldn't most of  the time, now, I'm pretty much always shirtless.

Hey, if   you earned it, you have the right  to show it (and by that I don't mean steroids or other junk either, I mean REAL STUFF).

Ok, off with me for now.
