Flashback - Dongguan Expat, it USED to be Michael's site, before it was officially mine, but it was always ours in that we were both admins, worked on it together, had our own unique strengths, neither did more or less. Uncle Bob and the other dude involved (who ultimately after me got it all, which is fine) didn't do much, but Bod had it spot on "ultimately that is Michael's site, he does what he wants on it".
I didn't quite understand the concept fully back then, I was young though. Arguing in a naive manner about Michael taking a decision on it I did not think he should have, it came down to this "its MY site, Rahul".
Of course, I did the most work on it, so I got it later, but that's a different tale. But that power struggle is also what led to the site breaking up ultimately. Ultimately, only a dictatorship works. Relationships, life, whatever it is, human beings are all power greedy and hungry. That's just what it is, friend. Nature. Don't blame ME!
My Dad at the time said I shouldn't let power dynamics affect a very good thing overall.
But he never said that about the rest of the people, of course, he loves blaming "only me". Hey, I was learning. Like at the age of 22 - you don't know everything - no guy does. The very fact I was doing that with folks over 50 respecting me as an equal said it all. I still remember the uproar one night when Michael dared to try and pull age as "rank" - he was forced to apologize, hehe.
"That's Dongguan", Uncle Bob and my project - we fell out (though made up later) ultimately due to the same power issues, he took issue with my brutal honesty and don't give a fuck attitude, but he was honest enough to tell me he did give a fuck about what people thought of him, which is fine...

I was involved in both projects to a large and equal degree, just so ya'll know. Gotta play the mix, hehe. Always have, so I'm still here. They're not, long gone ... cancer took one (RIP Bob) ... The ole General is probably still drinking beer someplace, hehe. No idea where. Last I heard he was cooking up a delicious storm somewhere in Northern China. I'm sure he's still doing something very original and unique though. That's him, at least it was.

No limit to human stupidity, of course. Further, I am an expert on so much more than just those topics. Dreams for one, and I'm still learning, yet I could teach you more about dreams, spirituality and the subconscious mind than most so called self help gurus could even begin to.
