Quitters are DOOMED to fail, live a life of rank jokerishness and obscurity, and by their own choice they do so. So be it.

There is nothing and nobody, not even very low IQ which they cannot do much to change admittedly - stopping them from QUITTING.

Hard work and persistence and grit ultimately beat the most talented and intelligent individuals  without those characteristics, my friend. We have spoken about this so often before.

Even a not so intelligent, I'm being polite there, individual can do well if they really work hard and don't QUIT.

Trouble is, most do.

Our old pal Ben Gay, our resident court jester and all that is a very interesting but not unique by  any means of course, case study. I recently came to know he was on Ritalin (no surprises there since he's  always sleeping and eating anyway) . What I did not know is that - and I think he's being honest for a change -that he tried out for school wrestling once, but of course quit after a few sessions.

Why?

He got injured, and it was too hard for him to practice after that, so he - yawn - QUIT. GAY. Took but a FEW, no kidding, sessions for him to quit. What a loser! And I don't respect this sort. If you truly try your best and then some, its ok to lose and you wont really lose anyway then, but if you don't, you deserve not just that loss, but loss for the rest of your life and will get just that. Karma is cold and unforgiving, so it should and must be. And IS.

Story of Ben's sorry ass life, basically. Pull-ups, they're hard for everyone, he's fat - so harder obviously, almost impossible to do for him, so he finds every excuse in the book to say they aren't necessary which is obviously one of the most retarded things fitness wise to say and even he knows that, but its cope on a grand scale.

Its "sad" in a way, he's so obsessed with me as we know, because he CRAVES, COVETS deeply my respect - RESPECT, more than anything or anyone else's, and its' there, I'd give it happily but he only gets it and would if he TRIES. And I have to see genuine effort and results (the second come if the first is there) ... but all I see is the reverse, so all he gets, well, is what he gets, nothing. He truly does want his "protective elder brother" back though does the little boy which I get, but he has to PROVE himself worthy first. He never did. And no, "neck harnesses" (ya know all that fetish gear) for wackos and weirdos and cow bands while mooing in public kids playgrounds isn't it, Ben. You know that very well.

VS...

A guy who gets injured in the kidneys during COLLEGE wrestling - tougher - can barely move for a month or so, yet comes back to compete and wins. Becomes a bestselling author too.

A guy who has asthama - can barely run a few blocks - yet keeps at  it despite doctors telling him not to (another Perry Reader basically) and goes on to be a champ high school wrestler and superb writer.

A guy - this one yours truly - with terrible physical genetics, the worst possible mental upbringing, not an especially, or at all priveleged background, yet finds all sorts of ways to be thrown in at the deep end in life with sharks circling around him all the time - yet finds a way to win and emerge victorious all the time.

He gets a nasty thumb in and out injury while doing handstand pushups in the cold and wet weather on a hill in China - everyone said it would hurt forever, everyone said only a doctor could heal it, he healed it himself, and did fingertip pushups on his birthday two days later. Pull-ups were  damn near impossible for him when he started, and he became the world's best at them through sheer dedication and HARD work and persistence, day in and day out. His supposedly nearest and dearest wished "death' upon him because of his so called bad habits  - yet that never happened, and he's getting younger and admittedly crazier in a good way daily, hehe.

He had a conversation about his late great Uncle with his aunt who said Uncle passed early due to his lifestyle, and he had to explain it was the lack of fitness that did him in - not so much the lifestyle, and she agreed, she's huge on MENTAL discipline which she and his brother in law freely admire in him and admit they do NOT have - but he tells them  this "I'm nobody special - if I can do it fitness with my genetics, anyone can - you sure can!".

And he's right.

Its about not QUITTING, my friend.

Quitters have a quit mentality, and the Universe brings them just that - more quit.

When Ben Gay worked for us - one month was all it took for him to throw a hissy and quit in a strange manner, when it takes six months to get settled into any job normally - unless you're me of course, I bring results in two weeks when most expect at least a coupla months ... but then I'm exceptional, not every one is and that's fine too.

Winners have the opposite mentality.

They find a way and move Heaven and Earth to find the right way and the Universe provides them with it ultimately.

Don't be a quitter, an excuse obsessed weak and pathetic sorry ass Bozo. It's sickening, my friend.

Be a WINNER.

And that's that

Your old pal in arms,

Dr Rahul Mookerjee, M.D.

P.S. To DOMINATE brutally in this Universe, you must SUBMIT equally FEROCIOUSLY in an alternate universe concurrently.

I've explained this before.

I'll try and explain it from that angle some other time.

For now, tata!
