As Napoleon Hill famously wrote about in Think and Grow Rich, persistence is to the character of man what carbon is to steel. There is NO substitute for it. In parlance, 1 percent genius, 99 percent inspiration, and a persistent average person plus extreme hard work will TRUMP a talented individual without persistence and hard work anyday. No exceptions to this GOLDEN rule, many others.
Marketing wise, fitness wise, life wise, holds true. If you just keep going, ultimately ALL barriers break down. People break down far more though before that point, long before. True success comes when you're LEAST ready for it, many a times in the past I've had not a single sale for what seemed like donkey's years, yet I kept going despite the bans, all else etc. And then BINGO, like the lovely Latas dog, hehe - it came when I LEAST expected it and most needed it. The Universe will TEST everyone rigorously. A precious few pass and enjoy that lasting SUCCESS - even fewer replicate it. Most get complacemnt and let things slide. Like Claude Bristol famously wrote about in the Magic of Believing, success is a fickle BIRD, there are plenty waiting to take your place, it will take wings instantly and FLY away if you let it. That's why (I have made this mistake in the past as I keep saying) I NEVER let up. Succeed, so what. There is always MORE to do, more to improve upon, work, work, WORK. No other way for a real man.
Look at Elon, Trump etc, their insane work hours at their age. Jeff Bezos is the modern day Ford, he doesn't exactly sit around despite his billions does he? Et Al ...
You must not either.
Research the story of Pooja the vegetable seller on this site, that's a classic lesson on persistence. Come rain, hail, shine, she's out there, yelling at people to buy her wares. Pushy a lot of times, men kinda like her flirtatious style, I used to get stuff from her and her husband in the past all the time, women don't generally (women - hehe) ... but bottom line, it works. She's a bit lax these days, but maybe that's her age, shes getting along, plus winter is usually low sales for these guys anyway . . .
Women wise, why did Elon even make Grok? Don't they seem to know everything? LOL. A famous movie star in India (not me lol) once made that joke of "why do I need Google. My wife's there!" LOL. Classic troll from a natural playboy who became famous being what he was naturally, martial artist (triple Dan I believe, workout fanatic and playboy ... kinda lost it after marriage, but then marriage kills ambition by domesticating me, I've explained that before. It was good for his wife though - an actress, but a relative nobody compared to HIM. He was literally the top superstar of the 90's in most regards.
Everyone loves those days, the Attitude Era, all that ...
Anyway, this little boy who keeps asking me for peanuts. I always decline, sometimes I get irritated. But he keeps asking, asked again today. I declined. Maybe if some girls I knew were nearby I'd have bought them some, given him some sales. Not that I care about the money, its not even a lot, plus these are all very nice girls.
Or, the annoying ass utensils dude roaming the place who I hollered up a storm at for his incessant pestering, the shoe shine guy who knows I don't generally wear boots no more, yet keeps looking at my bare feet and asking if I want them polished, lol ....
... First one was a contact of the ex, even she doesn't like him. Today I sent him to her, later I triggered her by telling her that. She didn't say a word, but eyes shooting daggers through me as I entered. Hehe.
But this is all classic persistence. Like constant emails. Trump sent 43 a day at the height of his marketing campaign against Sleepy Joe, hehe. That's a volume that's beyond even me, though the length and quality, information etc contained in my missives more than makes up for it.
Trump emails, you gotta read them to know its classic Trump.
That's why I keep saying, don't COPY.
You have to be YOU. That's the most important thing by far. Yes, you have to be on the right side of things, but even that isn't that important as being YOU. Do not be FAKE. It can smelt along with neediness a mile away. It repels like few other things do!
People might not say it, but like the ladies say about my ex and they're right, everyone SEES, feels, no-one except people like me, a select minority SAY IT OPENLY. And if you copy, people will feel it deep down inside, they may even say the opposite publicly to be nice or what not, but everyone sees through it ultimately.
Its a festive day today, bonfires everywhere, for me though people ask me, I'm like, just another day. And it is. Same routine. Boring guy huh. Hehe. But it works wonders for me, which is why I have what I do, and I would never give it up for anything. Even if I'm sick as a dog which I NEVER AM - I'll still train the same way to the best extent possible. If I can breathe, I'll train, simple.
Marketing wise, I promote myself as the best in the world on many things. Which I actually am on some, others, its marketing plus part truth.
Gotta do it.
But here's the thing, give me a competition - I'll compete.
And I'll win, if I lose, I don't lose, since I'll give ANYTHING I choose to do my very damn best.
The only caveat, I must compete against those a lot better than me in whatever, else there isnt any POINT TO IT.
This is another reason I love people hating me, not just making money as I say in Profit Troll the greatest book in that regard - https://www.0excusesfitness.com/profit-troll - - its because it gives me, in addition to my own immense AMBITION, hehe - even more will to IMPROVE AND FIGHT! Like Emerson said in such beautiful language, there's always arrows around the corner if all you get is words of honeyed praise. Id rather be attacked directly, and praised when its due, but that's it. I don't live for the praise or even need it. I know I deserve it, and that's enough for me, its hypocrisy I cannot stand.
How else would I improve my already stellar levels at everything other than by getting my ass kicked ? I'm the Bodyweight Exercise Guru yes but I improve and learn with every workout regardless, any other way I'd be a fucking hypocrite. I consider myself a beginner every time I squat, because there is so much to learn every time you do something. Any true expert will tell you this, my friend. Noone knows it all. Sometimes knowing nothing is knowing the most, and the most knowledge experts will freely tell you they are students themselves. Ego has its own place - marketing is required, but I am giving you FACTS here.
Pull-ups wise, i'd happily compete against Goggins. I'd be honored to.
Win, lose, matters NOT. The competitive SPIRIT is what counts. Like Stallone said in Over The Top, as long as you gave it your best, and still failed, it doesn't really matter.
But he was talking to a child.
What he meant was you'll never really fail if you give it your very best.
I can personally guarantee this.
Stallone can too, every winner can. His movies are all based upon his own real life, the lessons behind the story that is, that's why they hit home so hard, that's why he's another one that is so polarizing, but definitely one of the greats. Hopkins had ONE big hit, Stallone, so many! We've covered why Trump gave Stallone the award but not Hopkins before ...
And back to women, don't they know it all anyway? Hehe.
Every time I talk to a girl, same old retarded questions they already FEEL the answer to. Not know, feel.
And I just sort of wink and say - without winking, vibe - you know it, don't you?
And she GETS IT.
Its something you have to feel, then do on the fly. Cant be explained in mere words.
Women feel it. If you make her feel it, regardless of all else, you GOT HER. Few men can.
Be that guy.
Ok, enough for now.
